# RedNote Downloader

> RedNote Downloader is an independent browser utility for finding and saving available media from public RedNote and Xiaohongshu posts. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by RedNote or Xiaohongshu.

RedNote Downloader accepts supported public post links and returns the source media that the public page exposes. It does not require a RedNote account, does not ask for a password, and does not intentionally store submitted links or downloaded media.

## Supported workflow

1. Copy a public RedNote or Xiaohongshu post link, including supported xhslink.com or xhslink.cn share links.
2. Paste the URL or complete share message into the matching browser tool.
3. Review the public post preview and available source media.
4. Open or save a source file that you own or have permission to use.

## Supported content

- Public RedNote and Xiaohongshu videos when a public source is exposed.
- Public photo posts and multi-image slide galleries.
- Public creator profile images when exposed by the public page.
- Public video cover images and thumbnails.

## Important limitations

- Private, deleted, expired, login-gated, and region-restricted posts may not resolve.
- The service does not bypass privacy controls or RedNote login requirements.
- Watermark removal and MP3 conversion require processor-backed services and are not guaranteed for every source.
- Availability, quality, metadata, and statistics depend on what the public source page exposes.
- Users are responsible for copyright, privacy, permissions, and lawful use of downloaded media.
