RedNote Downloader is an independent, free browser tool that finds the media exposed by public RedNote and Xiaohongshu posts. It has no user accounts, never asks for a RedNote login, and is not affiliated with RedNote or Xiaohongshu. This page explains what the service processes, what it stores, and which third parties are involved.
What we process when you paste a link
When you submit a link, our server (a Cloudflare Worker) fetches the public post page from RedNote or Xiaohongshu once, reads the media URLs it contains, and returns them to your browser. The link and the page content are held in memory only for the duration of that request. We do not keep a history of submitted links, and we do not download, copy, or re-host any media: the download buttons point directly at RedNote's own content servers.
What we store
Nothing about you. There is no database, no account, and no cookie set by the site itself. Fonts are served from this domain, so no font request goes to a third party. Cloudflare keeps standard, short-lived request logs (IP address, browser user agent, requested URL) to run and protect the service, under Cloudflare's own privacy policy.
Analytics
The site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how many people use the tools and which pages are popular. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes your IP address and browser details according to Google's privacy policy. The links you paste are not sent to Google Analytics. You can block it with a content-blocking browser extension or by disabling cookies for this site.
What we do not do
We do not request RedNote credentials, process private or login-gated posts, ask you to upload files, sell or share personal data, or show personalised advertising.
Third-party services
Cloudflare hosts the site and runs the resolver. Google Analytics provides anonymous usage statistics. RedNote / Xiaohongshu servers are contacted to read the public post you asked for and to serve the media you download.
Children
The service is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly process their data.
